The couple exchanged vows in a breathtaking winter wedding on Sunday, December 7, surrounded by lush greenery at Abbeyglen Castle, with only their closest family and friends in attendance.

Just a week after their special day, Ryan took to social media to express his joy, sharing a lovely snapshot from the ceremony and reflecting on their union with gratitude: "Quite the week. One lucky man. Thank you so much for all the kind wishes. And so this is Christmas!"
Their journey together began charmingly two years prior, when Clare appeared on Ryan’s RTÉ radio show, marking what seems to be a fateful meeting. Their relationship blossomed from that moment, and in June 2025, they joyfully announced their engagement after Ryan proposed during a romantic getaway to the West of Ireland. Just half a year later, they celebrated their dream wedding.
The ceremony on December 7 was held at The Abbeyglen, which is owned by Ryan's cousin, creating an intimate atmosphere filled with love and warmth. The groom, at 52, radiated happiness as he exchanged vows, while Clare, at 41, looked stunning in a traditional white gown she purchased from a sustainable boutique in Kildare. Her choice reflected her commitment to eco-friendly fashion, something she had previously mentioned excitedly.
Clare described her shopping experience at Cirq, a bridal boutique in Naas, Co Kildare, stating how easy the wedding planning process had been. She shared her excitement about finding the perfect dress: "Jennifer, who owns Cirq, sources all her dresses from brides looking to sell or from charities. She’s wonderful to work with, so I’m thrilled to have my dress sorted and just a few details left—it's all very exciting."
The intimate nature of their wedding allowed Clare to surround herself with a supportive group of bridesmaids, while Ryan had his closest friends by his side, fulfilling the role of groomsmen splendidly. His daughters also played a significant part in their celebration, contributing to the day’s joy.
Clare’s mother, Breda, a physiotherapist, witnessed the ceremony with pride, although Clare's father, a respected consultant, had passed away several years ago.
Choosing Abbeyglen Castle as their venue was meaningful for both Clare and Ryan, as it holds sentimental value for their families. Clare has roots in Leeds, born to an Indian father, Ravi, who is a general practitioner, and an Irish mother, Breda. The two met while working at Merlin Park Hospital in Galway, with Clare’s father humorously introduced to her mother as "Dr. Ravishing."
